Not all patent file histories are available from the USPTO in electronic IFW format. Generally, file histories for patents issued since 2003, and all pending patent applications are stored electronically by the USPTO. An older patent file history can be converted from paper to electronic image file wrapper for a fee that is set by the USPTO for each request. Paper conversion fees are not included in our $79 searchable electronic file history service. We will notify you of any requested file histories that need to be converted from paper by the USPTO for your approval prior to ordering the conversion.
